Thousands still without power in Baton Rouge, other areas
BATON ROUGE- Scattered power outages are impacting thousands customers across the Baton Rouge area.
There are 2,285 customers in East Baton Rouge without power. On Friday, there were over 15,000 outages.
Customers in the Mid-City area were alerted Friday afternoon that power may not be restored for hours - a text message to customers said power may not be reconnected until 10 p.m.
There are approximately 41k customers out of power as of 8am. That's down from 72k Entergy Louisiana customers yesterday. We've brought in workers from other states to help with restoration.
