BATON ROUGE - Police are still investigating a home invasion that happened in the 1100 block of Wylie Drive in Baton Rouge Wednesday morning.

The two burglars are still at large responsible for the home invasion along with a series of burglaries in the Woodstone subdivision, according to BRPD.

The two suspects invaded three other homes on Wednesday, one in the 600 block of East Woodruff, one in the 600 block of Woodgate Boulevard, and one in the 600 block of Millgate Place.

BRPD said that they do not have any more information where the burglars were last seen since driving off in the victim's stolen car, however  new detials were released about the suspects' descriptions on Thursday morning around 10:20 a.m. :

According to police, the burglars previously stole a car in St. Tammany, drove it to Baton Rouge and abandoned it along Woodruff Drive.

Police say the two burglars were chased on foot when they hid in the home on Wylie Drive.

Police say the resident was not home at the time of the invasion, but once he arrived he confronted the men. According to authorities, the victim was attacked and tied up in the house, however he did not need to go to the hospital.

"He was bound up, we cut him loose and called 911 for him," Mike Womack said about finding the unidentified victim after hearing screams.  Click HERE to read and watch his interview with WBRZ.
