Tips from public lead to couple arrested for bank robbery in Gonzales, police say
GONZALES – A couple has been arrested after a bank in Gonzales was robbed on Thursday, police say.
The Regions Bank located on Airline Highway in Gonzales was robbed on Thursday around 12: 30 p.m. when a man walked into the lobby and approached a teller with a note demanding all of the cash from her drawer. The cashier gave the man an undisclosed amount of money before he fled.
Gonzales detectives with assistance from the FBI received several tips about the suspect who was identified as 32-year-old Floyd Hose.
An arrest warrant was issued and Hose was apprehended with the assistance of the US Marshals at a Marriott hotel in Lake Charles, according to the Gonzales Police Department. Hose was with 27-year-old Katrina Griffin. She was also arrested after several social media posts indicated that she was with Hose after the robbery.

Both Hose and Griffin were transported to the Ascension Parish Prison where they are awaiting bond consideration, according to the Gonzales Police Department.
Hose was arrested on one charge of first degree robbery and Griffin was arrested on one charge of after the fact first degree robbery.
