Three men targeted, one shot at student-living complex Wednesday night
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Police now say three men were targeted, one of whom was shot, at a student living apartment complex Wednesday night.
The shooting was first reported around 9:30 p.m. at the Lodges at 777 on Ben Hur Road, formerly called the Cottages of Baton Rouge. The apartment complex is popular among students at LSU and Southern University.
A BRPD spokesperson confirmed they were working a shooting investigation at the apartment complex and that one of the three targeted men was shot and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
BRPD said that the victim and two other men were arrested on drug charges -- apartment resident Orlando McMiller, 22, Cade Duckworth, 22, and Dominque Davis, 23.
Two suspects remain at large at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
