State announces meetings to inform public about I-10 widening project
BATON ROUGE - DOTD will be holding three public meetings to gather input regarding the proposed improvements along I-10 from LA 415 in Port Allen to Essen Lane in Baton Rouge.
The widening project will be partially funded with $360 million through Grant Anticipation Revenue Vehicle Bonds, also known as GARVEE Bonds.
During the meetings, the public can ask questions and receive information regarding the widening project. There will be a presentation at the start of each meeting and the same information will be proved in a taped presentation that will be shown continuously during the meeting, according to a release.
Verbal comments can be recorded at the meeting. Written statements can be submitted at the meeting, submitted via email to info@i10br.com, or mailed to I-10 BR: State 1 2148 Government Street Baton Rouge.
