BATON ROUGE - Police are investigating a reported shooting in Old South Baton Rouge.

The shooting happened near a corner market on Terrace between S. 15th Street and the railroad tracks.

Authorities are just arriving on the scene.  A WBRZ news crew recorded video and pictures of authorities roping off the area with crime scene tape.

A person was shot in a car, WBRZ reporter Chris Nakamoto was told by an eyewitness. 

Authorities say one person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
