BATON ROUGE - East Baton Rouge Sheriff's detectives are investigating an apparent homicide on South Sherwood Forest Boulevard.

Authorities say 29-year-old Jonathan Besson was found dead at the apartment complex.

Few details are available, but emergency responders were sent Monday morning to the 4900 block of South Sherwood Forest on a report of a person shot. Neighbors reported hearing a gunshot early Monday morning.
