BATON ROUGE - Police say a 60-year-old Baton Rouge man died Saturday after being struck by a car in front of the Greyhound bus station on Florida Blvd.

The incident happened in the 1300 block of Florida Blvd around 7:20 p.m. Saturday. Baton Rouge Police say John Lands was attempting to cross Florida Blvd when he was struck by the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the driver of the vehicle was not ticketed. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
