GONZALES - Police have found a 36-year-old woman who was reported missing by her family after last hearing from her five months ago.

The Advocate reports Ana Calderon-Calcano was located by investigators but she wished to be left alone at her own accord.

On Monday, police issued an advisory Monday for Calderon-Calcano. Her family last heard from her in May when she left to go visit her boyfriend in Mississippi.

At the time Calderon-Calcano was living with her sister. Details were not released as to why Calderon-Calcano did not contact her family.
