BATON ROUGE - Firefighters were called to the Perkins Rowe shopping center to handle a car fire late Monday morning.

Photos from the scene showed a crew working to extinguish the blaze shortly after 11 a.m. in the parking lot of the Barnes & Noble along Bluebonnet Boulevard.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
