Coroner releases autopsy results for fetus found in Baton Rouge sewer
UPDATE: The East Baton Rouge Coroner has released more info on the fetus that was found in a sewer over the weekend.
According to the coroner, the male fetus had a gestational age of about 20 weeks and weighed about 268 grams. The exam indicates that the baby was stillborn and never taken a breath.

BATON ROUGE- Deputies responded to a call regarding a fetus that was found in a sewer Saturday afternoon.
Authorities received a call around 2:40 p.m. Saturday from a sewer cleaning crew. Deputies were dispatched to the 15000 block of Shenandoah View Court.
Dr. Beau Clark of the East Baton Rouge Coroner's Office said further investigation will be performed Monday. According to the sheriff's office, an autopsy will take place.
