BUSTED: Three women, two men arrested in EBR prostitution sting
BATON ROUGE - East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, arrested five people during a prostitution sting at an area hotel.
On Wednesday at approximately 5:41 p.m. undercover agents contacted multiple women on social media that were advertising sexual services in exchange for money.
According to arrest documents, at least one agent spoke with one arrested suspect, identified as Kaneisha Moore over the phone. Moore instructed the undercover deputy to go to an unidentified hotel for a date, that also featured another woman later identified as Tahlia Hecht. The negotiated price for a date with the two women was $300.
As the date proceeded, Moore and Hecht told the agent to get comfortable, at that point the designated takedown signal was given for EBRSO SWAT to enter the room to make the arrests.
Hecht unsuccessfully tried to jump from the second story window of the hotel.
Two other suspects, determined to be connected to the investigation Regineke Miller and Isaac Coleman, were arrested in an adjacent room.
Deputies say, the ring leader Travis Young, escaped before SWAT entered the room. Young was tracked down, not far from the hotel, wearing only pants and a jacket.
