BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Police Department's Special Response Team was called to a group home in the 1300 block of Main Street around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning.

According to BRPD, they are investigating a disgruntled resident at the group home. Our WBRZ crew on the scene says there was a man barricaded inside.

Police say a 16-year-old male was taken into custody after 7:20 a.m. Wednesday morning. He will be charged with simple assault.
