BATON ROUGE- Police say a robbery likely led to the fatal shooting of a teen on Scenic Highway Tuesday morning.

Baton Rouge Police said that around 1:30 a.m. deputies responded to the 800 block of Scenic Highway regarding a male victim in the roadway apparently suffering a fatal gunshot injury. Police said 18-year-old Jocquez Ivory of Natchez, Mississippi was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe that robbery maybe a motive. There are no known suspects at this time.
