INNIS – Investigators in Pointe Coupee Parish say a body was found on a railroad tracks in Innis, La. Saturday afternoon.

Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Steve Juge said that the Coroner's Office investigators found no signs of trauma and an autopsy will be performed.

Juge said the body does not appear to be struck by a car or train.
