Arrest made in North 31st Street shooting
BATON ROUGE - Police have made an arrest in a murder that occurred a week ago in the 800 block of North 31st Street.
Marcus Miller, 21, is charged with 1st Degree Murder. According to the arrest report, Miller shot and killed Corey Boyd Tuesday, February 9th around 11 p.m. Police say witnesses to the murder picked Miller out of a lineup.
Miller is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. His previous conviction was on robbery charges.
Boyd's family and friends set up a GoFundMe page to help with his funeral expenses.
