Several buildings were without power due to outages in the area surrounding the location of the fire. A map of local outages provided by Entergy showed that as many as 1,200 customers did not have electricity as of 10:15 p.m.
Entergy told News 2 reporters on scene power would probably be out in the area until Friday morning.
