BATON ROUGE – LSU officials say they expect record crowds on campus for Saturday’s game against undefeated SEC rival Alabama.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. but the campus will start buzzing with activity Saturday morning. Campus activities start at 8 a.m. when ESPN College Gameday broadcasts live from the Quad. Interim LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron is set to make an appearance at 9:25 p.m.

Fans are asked to consider carpooling and arriving on campus early. The university will share parking updates throughout the day on its Facebook and Twitter pages.

Saturday’s heated rivalry game is sold out. Fans can still purchase tickets through the LSU Ticket Marketplace. LSU says the site is the only officially sanctioned ticket resale site.

Tailgating will be prohibited on the Parade Grounds until after 12 p.m. due to the LSU Salutes ceremony that starts at 9 a.m. That event will include a military parade, 21-gun salute and induction of 10 new members into the LSU Military Hall of Fame.
