WATSON - A 4-year-old boy was found drowned in a pool at a neighbor's home on Thursday.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to Meadow Lane, located in the Oak Hills subdivision in Watson, around 10 a.m. after receiving reports concerning a missing child.
The boy was found unresponsive in a neighbor's pool, not far from his home. Investigators have labeled the death a drowning and do not suspect foul play.
In a statement Thursday, Sheriff Jason Ard called it a "tragic accident" but said an investigation into what happened is ongoing.
