BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a man Tuesday for a road-rage shooting that left one person dead and wounded another.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said it arrested 32-year-old Dilson Ramirez for the murder of 27-year-old Leonel Valeuy-Morales on May 26.
WBRZ previously reported that the shooting happened around 3 a.m. along Riverlon Avenue — less than a mile from Department of Public Safety buildings, the Main Library and Liberty Lagoon. Valeuy-Morales was pronounced dead at the scene and the other victim was taken to a hospital.
Ramirez was booked for first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
