Zachary man charged with bank fraud for wiring $500,000
BATON ROUGE – A Zachary man has been charged with bank fraud after police say he wired $500,000 from three banks.
59-year-old Steven Reich was charged with two counts of wire fraud and one count of bank fraud Thursday. Police say Reich is accused of wiring $500,000 from three banks between July 2016 and September 2016.
Baton Rouge Police Sergeant L’Jean McKneely said the case was brought to the BRPD Financial Crimes Division by the U.S. Secret Service.
