Scene of deadly ambush becomes memorial to officers
BATON ROUGE - The B Quick convenience store where a man from Missouri ambushed and killed three law enforcement officers Sunday has become an emotional memorial to the victims.
Monday morning, police officers from other jurisdictions prayed among flowers left at the scene. Citizens brought their children to leave flowers, too. One woman accompanied by two young children broke down as she and the kids left flowers at the base of a sign outside the store at the corner of Airline Highway and Old Hammond Highway.
