VIDEO: Brawl breaks out in waiting line at state fair; deputies seeking those involved
BATON ROUGE - Authorities are looking for multiple people involved in a brawl at the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair over the weekend.
According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, the fight happened just before 10 p.m. Saturday. A woman there told deputies she was attacked by several people after she confronted a group who allegedly cut in front of her in line.
The victim said her boyfriend, who was holding her child at the time, stepped in to defend her and was also struck.
Deputies responded to the fight within minutes, prompting the attackers to flee the scene. Deputies were able to get descriptions but were unable to locate those responsible.

The sheriff's office is now sharing video from the fight in hopes that it will help identify the attackers. Anyone with information is asked to call 389-5061.
