BATON ROUGE- Authorities say a vehicle hit a house early Wednesday morning.

Around 2:30 a.m. police responded to a house in the 2000 block of Valley Street. Preliminary information revealed that a vehicle struck a house after having mechanical failure, according to authorities. As a result of the crash, a gas leak occurred.

No injuries were reported.
