UPDATE: Police identify victim from Brownlee Street shooting

BATON ROUGE - Authorities responded to a shooting in the 2700 block of Brownlee Street near College Drive, that claimed the life of one person.

On Saturday May 16, around 11:55 p.m. the Baton Rouge Police Department found Christopher Leduff , 42, suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to officials, the victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, May 23.

The investigation is ongoing.
