LAFAYETTE - The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has announced that it will close its doors Wednesday as Tropical Storm Cindy approaches South Louisiana.

According to a statement from the university, ULL will remain closed all of Wednesday as it monitors the storm. The university plans to announce a plan for a possible Thursday closure by 6 p.m. Wednesday.
