BATON ROUGE - Two people were arrested and charged with an assortment of armed robbery and burglary charges following a SWAT situation in Baton Rouge Wednesday afternoon.
Kellea Duncan and a man were arrested following a three hour standoff with East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Deputies on Monet Dr., off North Lobdell. Deputies say the pair refused to come out, so the SWAT team was called to force their way in.
Investigators say Duncan was involved in an attempted burglary on Siegen Lane, as well as a burglary on Versailles Dr. Both of those crimes occurred in July.
Both suspects arrested today are also charged with an armed robbery on Ansley Drive in July. Deputies say they held a knife to the victim's neck and pointed a gun at him before taking his electronics and leaving.
