Trump confirms Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is running mate
WASHINGTON - Donald Trump has made the selection of Indiana governor Mike Pence as his running mate official via Twitter.
I am pleased to announce that I have chosen Governor Mike Pence as my Vice Presidential running mate. News conference tomorrow at 11:00 A.M.

A new conference will the announcement on Saturday at 11 a.m. EST.
The vice presidential announcement was set to take place Friday morning in New York City, but it was moved out of respect for last night's deadly attack in France.
"Out of respect for this horrific situation, I just thought it was inappropriate," Trump said during a Thursday night phone interview with Fox News.

On Thursday, sources said that Trump had asked Pence if he would be his running mate, and the Indiana governor had said he would accept. However, hours later Trump told a reporter that he had not reached a "final, final decision."
