KENNER (WWL-TV) - A WWL-TV viewer captured this photo of members of Kenner Police and the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force apprehending a suspect in Kenner shortly after noon Friday.

Kenner Police Lieutenant Brian McGregor said the image shows several law enforcement members surrounding Eddieshawn "12 O'Clock" Smith, 36. Smith has an infant in one of his arms.

According to McGregor, Smith was wanted by the NOPD in connection with a triple shooting on Friday, April 8 near the intersection of St. Claude and Lizardi.

Smith had a standoff with the agencies Friday before surrendering.

Smith was one of the suspects wanted after a man and a woman sitting inside of a car near St. Claude and Lizardi were struck as gunshots rang out. The couple drove themselves to a hospital. A short time later police went to the scene and found another man shot. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
