PRAIRIEVILLE - Reports of damage in and around Prairieville in the area of Hwy 73 North of Hwy 42 were quickly reported as severe weather rolled through the area just after noon Tuesday.

Some of the most significant damage observed was at the Gold's Gym on 17097 Airline Hwy near Hwy 42.  Other business in the area were damaged, too.

The National Weather Service confirmed that a tornado had crossed Hoo Shoo Too Road east of South Tiger Bend Road at around 12:15 p.m. Injuries have yet to be reported in this area.
