Tiger fever: Ohio store reportedly selling LSU gear amid Joe Burrow hype
BATON ROUGE - Football fans in Louisiana are naturally flying high after LSU's huge win over Georgia Saturday, but it seems that enthusiasm may be more contagious than we first thought.
A number of Ohio residents have begun sighting LSU gear for sale at stores in the area of QB Joe Burrow's hometown in Athens County. Multiple social media posts have cropped up in recent weeks, reporting racks stocked with purple and gold apparel in at least one Walmart in the area where Burrow went to high school.

Burrow was one of the Tigers' key additions in the offseason, coming to LSU as a transfer from Ohio State. The Junior QB has been delivering solid performances week-to-week, helping propel the Tigers from #25 to #5 over the first seven games of the season. Among those are three wins against top 10 opponents, including this week's victory over the #2 Bulldogs.
