BATON ROUGE - Police accused three teens of stealing dirt bikes at gunpoint from people riding them at a BREC park this past summer.

Baton Rouge Police arrested Kendale Cryer and Decory Andrews this week on charges stemming from the June 11 theft. Police previously arrested Timotheus Bowie on Aug. 16 as part of the same investigation.

According to arrest records, the three 17-year-old suspects approached a group of people riding dirt bikes at the BREC park at 3000 Monte Carlo. Witnesses told police Bowie pointed a gun at their head and demanded they get off their bike. The victims gave up the bikes and police said the three suspects fled the scene using the bikes.

Detectives said the victims knew who the three teens were because they all went to school together.

Police charged Bowie with armed robbery, simple robbery and being a fugitive. Cryer faces armed robbery charges, as does Andrews.
