Think pink! Spanish Town flamingos flock to LSU lakes
BATON ROUGE - With the Mardi Gras season getting underway, the Krewe of Spanish Town teased this year's parade.
The traditional flamingos were back in the University Lakes near LSU early Monday morning.

Kayakers were out this morning grabbing the pink birds for their own decorations.

The Spanish Town Ball will be held this Saturday at the Raising Cane's River Center. The Spanish Town parade will roll on March 2 under the theme of "Drain the Perversion Canal." More details on this year's festivities can be found here.
