Suspect identified in stabbing of LSU's Dillon Gordon
BATON ROUGE - Detectives investigating the stabbing of LSU football player Dillon Gordon filed an arrest warrant in connection with the case, the WBRZ Investigative Unit uncovered Wednesday.
Gordon, a tight end, was stabbed at a bar in Tigerland early Tuesday morning. He was taken to the hospital and will recover.
Jamal Vaughn, 20, is wanted for playing a role in the attack. In an arrest warrant filed Wednesday, Baton Rouge Police write, Vaughn stabbed Gordon three times after the two got into a fight. Investigators said they developed Vaughn as a suspect after they found his wallet inside the bar Reggie's where the stabbing happened.
Vaughn, of Gonzales, is wanted for aggravated second degree battery.
