BATON ROUGE - Police have arrested a man for a deadly shooting that happened in Baton Rouge last week.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said Luke Simmons, 38, was arrested Tuesday for the killing. He was booked for second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.

Police found Lance Robertson, 41, Dec. 3 on Spanish Town Road near N 18th Street with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene. 

No other details surrounding the shooting have been released at this time.
