BATON ROUGE - Police have arrested 33-year old Corey Pittman for the death of Kenneth Barton. Barton's body was found in a canal in the 2700 block of Cedar Avenue Friday morning.

Investigators believe he was shot during a break-in at a home.

State Police arrested Pittman in St. John Parish after a traffic stop. He will be charged with first-degree murder.

Police say more arrests could come.
