Special cell signal truck will be parked in New Roads for Mardi Gras
NEW ROADS - Cell phone service will be boosted for one of the state's largest Mardi Gras celebrations outside of New Orleans.
AT&T said Tuesday, a special truck will be parked in the city ahead of the two parades. Thousands of people attend the parades each year. New Roads is dubbed the "Little Carnival Capital."
The trucks, called "Cell on Wheels" or "COWs" will also be parked in New Orleans. None are planned to be staged in Baton Rouge, though.
Mardi Gras is Tuesday, February 9th.
