Home invasion leaves one suspect dead; two in jail
BATON ROUGE - The final alleged attacker in a Friday night home invasion has been released from the hospital and booked into jail.
Ranaud Adams, was reportedly shot by a resident of a house in the 3700 block of Eleanor Drive after armed men forced their way into the house around 7 p.m. Friday.
One of his alleged accomplices, 19-year-old Altren Dukes, was shot to death by the resident, police said.
Adams, 22, was booked with first-degree murder and home invasion. Dewayne Davis, 29, also has been arrested in that case.
Police said the three men fled the Eleanor Drive house and drove to a Racetrac gas station on Airline Highway.
