GONZALES - The  Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed Monday morning that a school bus crashed at the intersection of LA 931 and LA 431 near Lakeside Primary School. Three vehicles were involved in the accident. 

According to sources, 30 children were on the school bus at the time of the crash and no injuries were reported. Two people who were in the vehicles were transported to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries. 

Officials say that one driver will be ticketed for failure to yield at a stop sign.
