BATON ROUGE - All interstates in the Baton Rouge area are now fully opened as of Thursday afternoon.

As of Thursday (Feb. 18) morning, the state started to gradually reopen I-10, I-12 and I-110 in the Baton Rouge area.

Around 9:30 a.m., Louisiana's Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that I-110 North was open from I-10 to Scenic Hwy. I-110 South remains fully closed.

On Wednesday evening, State Police announced that I-10 and I-12 are fully open.

Read the full plan outlined in DOTD's statement below.

"The current plan is to open I-10 westbound at LA 415 followed by I-10 westbound at the I-10/I-12 split, then I-10 eastbound at LA 415, then I-10 eastbound from Lafayette and finally from I-12 at Airline Highway.

DOTD has been working on I-110 and will now be able to focus more manpower and resources on this roadway, which is elevated and heavily iced. DOTD will advise when it has been re-opened."
