Rescuers look to track down St. Amant beagle owner
ST AMANT – Rescuers are looking for the owners of four beagles after the dogs were pulled from floodwaters in St. Amant Monday night.
Chief investigator Chris Nakamoto spoke to the rescuers live on air Monday night. Three of the four beagles have collars. The dogs were seen swimming together near St. Amant.
“Why would you sit at home when you can do something,” one of the rescuers told Nakamoto.
One of the rescuers volunteered to keep the dogs until they are reunited with their owners.
