Power outages reported throughout Louisiana in Hurricane Francine's wake

More than 300,000 homes and businesses were without power across Louisiana at midday  Thursday in the wake of Hurricane Francine. Outages are tracked here.

Phillip May, president and CEO of Entergy, says the hardest hit parishes were Lafourche and Terrebonne but there were also substantial outages in Assumption, Ascension and Jefferson parishes. He said more than a quarter-million  of his customers were out of power at some point. The utility provided no estimated time of restoration for electricity.

Iberville: 1,554 (17%)

Livingston: 16,522 (23%)

St. Helena: 706 (10%)

St. James: 4,041 (41%)

St. Mary: 13,064 (69%)

Tangipahoa: 20,462 (28%) 

Terrebonne: 25,690 (94%)
