Police: Walker teen accused of raping 12 year old at sleepover
BATON ROUGE – Police say a Walker teen faces rape charges after he asked a 12-year-old girl to give him oral sex at a sleepover earlier this year.
According to Baton Rouge Police, the victim said she was 12 years old when the incident happened at a Baton Rouge home in May.
On Dec. 2, the victim told police that she met 19-year-old Hunter Wayne Browning during a sleepover at her friend’s house. While the victim, Browning and two other friends were playing video games, Browning asked her to go into another room and give him oral sex.
The victim said after the group went to another room, Browning took off his pants and asked her to perform sex acts on him, according to the police report.
Detectives interviewed the victim’s friend who said that Browning flirted with the victim earlier that night by calling her “sweetheart." The friend said Browning also asked whether the girl had had sex. The friend told police that he left the room before the rape took place, but Browning later bragged to him about the act.
A third witness told investigators that the bedroom was dark, and he only heard noises. He asked Browning to play video games again and left the room. When Browning finally returned, the witness said that Browning bragged about the rape.
The witness told police that the victim originally denied having oral sex, but later admitted to doing so after he told her Browning was bragging about the act.
