Police arrest suspected shooter in October killing at Baton Rouge apartment building
BATON ROUGE -A man accused of killing someone at a Baton Rouge apartment complex was booked into jail this week.
The shooting happened Oct. 16 at an apartment building on N. Ardenwood Drive near Renoir Avenue. Police said Brandon Chatman, 25, was found dead on the upstairs walkway of an apartment with multiple gunshot wounds.
Wednesday, police announced Malecah Demoulin, 22, was booked into the parish jail on a charge of second-degree murder. Demoulin was initially captured by federal marshals in Lake Charles last week.
Police have not released any other info surrounding the events that led to the shooting.
