BATON ROUGE- A fatal car crash took the life of a pedestrian on Burbank Drive over the weekend.

The crash happened on Sunday, May 22 around 9 p.m. on Burbank Drive at the intersection on Gardere Lane.

The crash took the life of 53-year-old Karen Tullier of Baton Rouge.

The initial investigation by State Police revealed that the crash occurred after 23-year-old Devin Alleman of Plaquemine was traveling westbound on a Kawasaki motorcycle. For unknown reasons, Tullier was walking in the westbound lane on Burbank Drive and was struck by Alleman’s motorcycle.

Tullier sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. She was transported to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Alleman sustained moderate injuries in the crash and was also transported to the hospital.
