BATON ROUGE- One person has been arrested in a shooting that happened Sunday near Spanish Town Road. 

The incident was reported around 3 p.m. in the 700 block of North 17th street. Authorities say one person has been transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The identity of the shooter has yet to be released.

The shooting is still under investigation.
