Victim struck in head by ricochet bullet at BR firing range

BATON ROUGE - One person was hospitalized after being struck in the head by a ricochet bullet at a firing range Wednesday.

The incident was reported around 6:30 p.m. at the Precision Firearms firing range. According to authorities, one person was hurt when a bullet ricocheted and struck the victim in the head.

Sources say the victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
