BATON ROUGE - One person was shot to death in the 2700 block of North Street Wednesday night, while outside a convenience store, shortly after 5 p.m., according to authorities. 

The Baton Rouge Police Department says Jacoby Queen, 41, was shot and killed at Ancona's Grocery.

Detectives are investigating the shooting. 

The motive and suspect are still unknown.
