BATON ROUGE - 20 critically ill patients have been transferred from Ochsner Medical Center to other Ochsner facilities and another 20 are expected to follow shortly. The precautionary measure was taken due to the severe weather and flooding around the O’Neal campus.

Ochsner is currently motoring the situation with local and state police. A decision to transfer additional patients has not been made at this time.
