LAPLACE - A deadly wreck involving a motorcyclist closed I-10 West south of Baton Rouge Friday evening.

The crash happened around 7:30 in St. John the Baptist Parish. Authorities closed the interstate for about three hours.

Details about what happened have not been released.

State Police and local deputies were on the scene.
